Professor Li Cai on the benefits of a degree in Advanced Quantitative Methods (AQM) "Many decisions on educational policy are influenced, in one way or another, by data analysis and quantitative results based on a statistical model. Estimating the parameters of the model accurately is a prerequisite for drawing sound conclusions from the results. In the AQM program at UCLA, you will not only learn the advanced modeling techniques but also have the opportunity to develop new methods so that you and your future colleagues may improve the quality of quantitative research in educational assessment, research, and policy analysis."
